# Reorder Todos

> Persist a new display order for the todo list.

Accepts an ordered list of todo ids and updates each item's ``position``
value so the list is returned in the requested order on subsequent fetches.
Only todos that belong to ``thread_id`` are affected; unknown ids are
silently ignored.

Args:
    payload:   Ordered list of todo ids (new order).
    user:      Authenticated owner.
    thread_id: Target conversation.
    db:        Database session.

Returns:
    The reordered list of ``TodoSchema`` objects.
